Scott Malzahn Named One of the Top 100 Lawyers in Los Angeles by Los Angeles Business Journal

Los Angeles Business Journal has named Managing Partner Scott Malzahn one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Los Angeles 2025. Scott was chosen In the Litigation category.

One of California’s leading commercial litigators, Scott has a practice that spans intellectual property, fintech, and general commercial disputes. An accomplished trial lawyer, Malzahn and the Waymaker team won a $18.3 million award in a trade secret theft case before a federal jury. He also has handled many high-profile cases on appeal and is frequently consulted on anti-SLAPP law.

After a two-year term, Scott recently stepped down as president of Equality California, the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization. He previously taught Constitutional Law at USC’s Gould School of Law.
